With the ’77 MONTRÉAL project, evenko set out to create not just a festival but also a living archive of the Montréal Punk scene both past and present. Our team was honored to be part of such a unique project.
We created a massive digital archive for Montreal’s punk concerts to go along with the website’s festival information. This interactive archive allowed fans to collaborate with each other. They could upload media such as images, videos, and even share anecdotes about old shows. The project re-surfaced details like venue and date information about older concerts that would otherwise be lost forever.
